Every Visitors Bureau or Chamber of Commerce needs publication that makes a positive impression on travelers and/or people seeking to relocate – or own a second home.
Once travelers get to your area of the world, you want them to get the absolute most out of their time there. Make it easy for them: provide an attractive guide to your area with maps; area attractions and points of interest; a calendar of special events; places to stay, eat, relax & play; local history, emergency numbers and any other useful, interesting information – that will help them enjoy their visit and come back again. Or people may be looking to relocate to your area for their primary home – or purchase a second residence. They may also want information about schools, churches, real estate, etc. – which you can include in your guide.
At no cost to your organization you can provide travelers and potential residents an attractive, informative Visitor Guide. You can also use these guides to solicit more business for your members by sending them to convention planners and meeting professionals around the country.

What are the next steps?
If you’ve chosen our No-Cost Ad-Sponsored program, your property may be required to provide the U.S. Hospitality sales rep with a comp room, parking, and local phone and fax privileges for a 2-week stay depending upon your location and the complexity of the publication. Obviously we do this on your schedule. Otherwise there are no other costs unless you choose a publication without ads
The sales rep will usually come in knowing some detailed information about your market and possible advertisers but will also canvas the area and meet with your Owner/Manager (at least twice during the visit) to gather leads. The Owner/Manager might have to fill out a Guest Property Questionnaire (to provide some of the key information for your publication, etc. Your Owner/Manager may also point out businesses that he/she does not want the sales rep to solicit (but please remember that too many restrictions may inhibit the sales effort).
After a typical 10-14 day sales effort the sales rep will meet with the Owner/Manager, pick up the Questionnaire, and the Owner/Manager will be asked to sign off on the Approval of Sponsors.
U.S. Hospitality goes into action to produce your publication. You get to see proofs online and approve the final product. Once we’ve got all of your information, this usually takes 60-90 days (including coordinating with all of the advertisers….)
